*** MANOJ BAJAJ, J. (Oral) Petitioner has filed this petition under Section 439 Cr.P.C. for grant of regular bail pending trial in case FIR No.220 dated 07.09.2020, under Sections 22(c) Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 registered at Police Station Kalanwali, District Sirsa, Haryana. Learned counsel for the petitioner does not press this petition, but prays for a direction for expediting the trial, which is pending for last more than two years.

At this stage, learned State counsel on instructions from PSI Sandeep Kumar has stated that in all there are fifteen prosecution witnesses and so far five witnesses have been examined and the case is now coming up before the trial Court for recording prosecution witnesses on 02.02.2023. CRM-M-43129-2022 (O&M) -2In view of the above limited prayer made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the main petition is dismissed as withdrawn, however, it is ordered that the trial be expedited and concluded, preferably within four months.
