Mr. Rohit Mittal, Advocate, for the petitioner Fateh Deep Singh, J. (Oral) The matter has been taken up through Videoconferencing on account of outbreak of pandemic COVID-19. The petitioner has invoked the jurisdiction of this Court in terms of Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India seeking prayer by way of writ of mandamus for issuance of directions to consider the claim of the petitioner for release of his pending amount arising out of contract so executed between the petitioner and the respondents in respect of work pertaining to Municipal Corporation of district Mahendergarh.

Upon hearing learned counsel of both the sides and on perusal of the records, since the petitioner has already served upon the respondents a legal notice Annexure P/3 laying claim to this amount, it would sub-serve the purpose if directions are issued to the respondents to duly consider the legal notice as representation moved on behalf of the petitioner and dispose off the same, in accordance with law, by passing a speaking order preferably within a period of two months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
