CRWP-10607 of 2021 Through this petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India prayer has been made for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing respondent No.2 to consider application dated 08.11.2021 (Annexure P-4) and protect the life and liberty of the petitioners at the hands of respondents No.5 to 7 and further directing respondents No.3 and 4 not to harass the petitioners and parents of petitioner No.2 at the instance of respondent No.5 to 7 as petitioner No.1 has married with petitioner No.2 against the wishes of her parents and other relatives. -2CRWP-10607 of 2021 (O&M) Learned counsel for U.T., Chandigarh, has produced the copies of statements of respondents No.5 and 6 i.e. father and uncle, respectively and grandfather of petitioner No.1-Navneet Kaur before the police, which are taken on record, according to which family members of petitioner No.1Navneet Kaur have no objection to her marriage with petitioner No.2Karanpreet Singh. They will not interfere in their married life nor they will have any relation with the petitioners.

In view of above, this petition has been rendered infructuous. Disposed of accordingly.
