(ORAL) Through this petition, the petitioner seeks anticipatory bail in case bearing FIR No.199 dated 28.10.2021, registered under Sections 353, 186, 355, 294, 506, 148, 149 and 120-B IPC, at Police Station City Sangrur, District Sangrur.

Vide order dated 12.11.2021 passed by a Coordinate Bench of this Court, the arrest of the petitioner had been stayed. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that though the arrest of the petitioner was stayed, yet the fact remains that the petitioner has joined the investigation.

Learned State counsel, on instructions from Inspector Ramandeep Singh submits that the petitioner has joined the investigation and is now not required for any further investigation. AMAN JAIN 2022.09.01 17:54 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment

CRM-M-47173-2021(O&M) -2Keeping in view the fact that the petitioner has already joined the investigation and is no longer required by the investigating agency, the present petition is allowed and while treating the order dated 12.11.2021 staying the arrest of the petitioner, as the one granting anticipatory bail to the petitioner, the same is made absolute, subject to the conditions as envisaged in Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.

It is made clear that if pursuant to and in compliance with this order, the petitioner does not cooperate with the investigating agency the investigating agency would be at liberty to move an appropriate application for the cancellation of bail.
