Instant writ petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution for issuance of a writ of certiorari quashing the order dated 05.07.2024 (Annexure P-2), vide which the petitioner who is serving as Lecturer in Commerce has been posted/transferred out of cadre without consent from Government Senior Secondary School, Bhundri, Ludhiana to District Institutes of Education and Training (DIET) - Centres of Excellence, Jagraon, Ludhiana, created by the Government of India.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that since the impugned order has been cancelled by the respondents-State, instant petition has been rendered infructuous.
