Tribhuvan Dahiya, J. (Oral) This petition has been filed, inter alia, seeking a writ of mandamus directing the respondent Commission to consider HTET certificates of the petitioners valid for the post of TGT (Science) (categories No.7 and 12), and the petitioners eligible for the post in question, and issue appointment orders in case the petitioners fall within selection zone after declaration of the final result.

Learned counsel for the petitioners contends that the petitioners were not being considered eligible for the post of TGT (Science) advertised vide advertisement No.2 of 2023, on the ground that HTET certificates possessed by them were only of the subject of Mathematics. Three of the petitioners have now been re-issued their respective HTET certificates by the Board of School Education, mentioning the subject area as Mathematics and Science which makes them eligible for the advertised PAYAL 2023.10.11 09:55 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment

2023:PHHC:130238 CWP No.18102 of 2023 [2] posts. The remaining petitioners have also applied for re-issuance of their HTET certificate and the same will soon be issued to them. In view of the changed circumstances, it is contended that the respondent Commission may be directed to re-consider the petitioners' candidature in the light of re-issued HTET certificates to them.

Learned State counsel contends that the petitioners' candidature will be considered again on the basis of their re-issued HTET certificates before finalization of result of selection. 5.

In view of the statement made by learned State counsel, the petition stands disposed of.
