JUSTICE AMIT RAWAL -.- AMIT RAWAL J.(ORAL) Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he will be satisfied if a direction is issued to the 2nd respondent-Engineer-in-Chief, Irrigation and Water Resource Department, Haryana Sinchai Bhawan, Sector 5, Panchkula to take appropriate action on the representation dated 28.03.2017 (Annexure P-8) within a stipulated period. Without going into the merits and demerits of the claim of the petitioner, I deem it appropriate to direct the 2nd respondent-Engineer-inChief, Irrigation and Water Resource Department, Haryana Sinchai Bhawan, Sector 5, Panchkula to take appropriate action on the representation dated 28.03.2017 (Annexure P-8) within a period one month from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order and shall pass a speaking order thereon.

If the case of the petitioner is found justified and fit for consideration, his name may be considered in the next DPC for the post of SDO.
