This writ petition has been filed for quashing of the order impugned dated 28.01.2012 (Annexure P-1), whereby petitioner was placed under suspension.
Learned State counsel, while making reference to para No.6 of the reply (on merits), dated 27.03.2022 submits that order impugned has already been withdrawn and the period of suspension is also regularized. For reference, the relevant part of aforesaid reply reads as under:- "It is further submitted that the petitioner was found absent, when a surprise checking was conducted by the Technical Education Minister at Industrial Training Institute, Mohali(W) and consequently the petitioner was suspended in the year 2018 vide Govt. of Punjab letter No.1/17/2018-2TE1/1163070/3 dated 0902-2018. That the petitioner was thereafter reinstated vide letter dated 06.08.2019. CWP-4751-2018 [2] Department has filed the complaint against the petitioner and has been also regularized the suspension period dated 28.01.2012 to 10.07.2012 of the petitioner as per sub rule 7 of Rule 7.3 (B) of the Punjab Civil Services Rules, Volume-1 vide letter dated 28.02.2019 annexed as Annexure R-1."
Since main grievance of the petitioner stands redressed, therefore, learned counsel, on instructions, does not press the petition any further. However, he seeks liberty to approach the authorities for remaining relief(s), if any.
Disposed off with liberty aforesaid.
