***** ARCHANA PURI, J. (Oral) CM-7149-CII-2026 The present application has been filed for placing on record the panchayati compromise dated 01.03.2025, allegedly reached between the parties, copy whereof is Annexure P-8.

Keeping in view the averments made in the application, the same is allowed and the requisite panchayati compromise is taken on record. Main case In view of the recitals of the compromise aforesaid, counsel submits that the parties, as such, were not required to indulge into any further litigation and the petitioner was also required to vacate the demised premises and hand over the possession of the same to the respondent. CR-3979-2022 However, counsel for the petitioner submits that in pursuance of the aforesaid compromise, possession was handed over to Sham son of late Sh. Devraj, who is one of the attesting witnesses of the said compromise. However, counsel for the respondent submits that till date, no possession, as such, has been handed over to the respondent, though, he does not dispute about the arrival of this compromise, with the intervention of the Panchayat.

After seeking instructions from the petitioner today, counsel for the petitioner has made a statement that on 08.04.2026, vacant possession of the demised premises shall be handed over to the respondent, through the services of Sham son of late Sh. Devraj, who is the attesting witness to the compromise.

In view of the undertaking aforesaid given, at this stage, counsel for the petitioner submits that he does not want to pursue with the revision petition and the same be dismissed as withdrawn. Ordered accordingly.

However, the petitioner shall remain bound by the statement so given, by his counsel, today in the Court.
