AMARJOT BHATTI, J. (Oral) The petitioner - Rahul Berwal has filed this petition under Section 438 Cr.P.C. for grant of anticipatory bail in FIR No. 0307 dated 07.10.2021, under Sections 323, 34, 498-A, 506 of IPC, registered at Police Station Urban Estate, District Hisar.

The facts of the case are that the complainant - Suman filed written complaint against her husband Rahul Berwal and others alleging that she got married with Rahul Berwal on 27.11.2015. Her parents had given dowry worth Rs. 28 lacs. Her husband managed to buy a Maruti Ciaz car through her father, though her father was willing to give a small car. Her parents had given dowry articles as per their demand. After marriage, she came to know that her husband was a drunkard and he used to ill treat her. 2023:PHHC:049563 CRM-M-47485-2021 -2was left alone in a secluded place by her husband during odd hours and she used to return back home alone. She was forced to leave her job. She was manhandled on various occasions. He used to avoid her and did not receive her calls. She was abused and beaten up. Ultimately, the present complaint was filed.

Learned counsel for the petitioner argued that all the allegations levelled against him are false. He has already joined the investigation as per the order of the Court dated 15.11.2021. He is still ready to cooperate. Therefore, the interim bail granted in his favour may be confirmed. The status report is filed by learned counsel representing the State where it is confirmed that the petitioner has joined the investigation. He was formally arrested by the Investigating Officer and he fully cooperated and he is not required for further investigation of the case. I have considered the status report which clearly indicates that petitioner is not required for any other purpose as he has already joined the investigation. Considering this fact, the ad interim bail already granted in favour of the petitioner - Rahul Berwal vide order dated 15.11.2021 stands confirmed, subject to the conditions as specified under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.

The petition is accordingly, accepted.
