The appellant/claimant is seeking enhancement of the compensation awarded to him by the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, Sangrur (in short 'the Tribunal'). After adjudication upon the claim petition, the Tribunal had awarded an amount of Rs. 2,46,695/-, along with interest and benefits, as specified in that award.

It is conceded by learned counsel for the appellant/claimant that there was no fracture. However, there were 16 days' hospitalization of the appellant, but an amount of Rs.75,000/- on account of pain and suffering has already been awarded by the Tribunal. Learned counsel for the appellant could not convince this Court for justifying any enhancement. Dismissed.
