**** SHALINI SINGH NAGPAL J. (Oral) The petition under Articles 226/227 of Constitution of India seeks following reliefs:

(i) direction to respondents No. 2 and 3 to protect life and liberty of the petitioner from private respondents No. 4 to 8; (ii) direction to respondents No. 2 and 3 to consider and decide representation dated 23.05.2026 (Annexure P-6). After arguing for some time, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that at this stage, petitioner would be satisfied if appropriate direction is issued to the respondent No. 2- Senior Superintendent of Police, Amritsar (Rural) to consider and decide representation dated 23.05.2026 (Annexure P-6) moved by petitioner and take necessary action thereupon in a time bound manner. CRWP-7749-2026 (O&M) -2enquiry on petitioner's representation was underway and the needful would be done in due course.

Keeping in view the limited prayer made by petitioner, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No. 2Senior Superintendent of Police, Amritsar (Rural), to asses the threat perception and decide the aforesaid representation dated 23.05.2026 (Annexure P-6) submitted by petitioner within a period of 15 days from today by passing a reasoned and speaking order in accordance with law and take necessary action, if so required.

However, if, respondent No.2 does not find any substance in the allegations levelled in the representation (Annexure P-6), the petitioner shall be informed as per mandate of law. Pending CRM(s), if any, are also disposed of accordingly.
