CRWP-7851-2024 Present petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for directing official respondents to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners from the hands of respondents No.5 to 11. It is further prayed to issue direction to respondent No.3 to add the offences as per the report of Board of Doctors, Annexure P-3, in DDR No.34, dated 02.04.2024, under Sections 323, 341, 324, 506, 148, 149 IPC, registered on the statement of the petitioner at Police Station Amargarh, District Malerkotla in FIR No.27, dated 01.04.2024 under Sections 323, 341, 324, 148 and 149 IPC, registered at Police Station Amargarh, District Malerkotla since respondent No.4 is hand in gloves with the accused persons. CRWP-7851-2024 (O&M) -2of the MLR, offence under Section 326 IPC is made out, however, the same has not been added by the Investigating Agency. Notice of motion to official respondents only. On asking of the Court, Mr.Tarun Aggarwal, Sr.DAG, Punjab, who is present in Court, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents/State and submits, on instructions from HC Pargat Singh, that Section 325 IPC has already been added on 15.07.2024 and investigation is in progress which would be completed expeditiously in accordance with law. In view of the above statement made by learned State counsel, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to the Investigating Agency to conclude the investigation in a fair and impartial manner expeditiously in accordance with law.
