*** VINOD S BHARDWAJ, J. (ORAL) By means of this petition, a writ of mandamus is sought directing respondent Nos.2 to 15 to protect liberty of the petitioners. Learned counsel for the petitioner points out that the S.I.T has already conducted investigation and the proceedings are at advance stage. He does not press this petition any further but prays that liberty be granted to pursue appropriate alternative remedy available to him, as per law. Learned counsel for the respondent does not dispute the said assertion.
