( Through Video Conferencing ) **** HARSIMRAN SINGH SETHI , J. (ORAL) Present writ petition has been filed by the petitioner claiming promotion to the post of Superintendent.

Learned counsel for the petitioner argues that the petitioner is entitled for promotion to the post of Superintendent, which promotion is not being granted to him by the respondent authorities without any valid justification.

On being pointed out, whether the petitioner has raised a claim before the said authorities or not, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner will file a comprehensive representation before the Deputy Commissioner, Sirsa-respondent No.3 in this regard and respondent No.3 be directed to decide the said representation NARESH KUMAR 2020.12.21 16:21 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Chandigarh

Notice of motion to the respondents.

Ms. Rajni Gupta, Additional Advocate General, Haryana, who has joined the proceedings through video conference, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents-State.

Learned State counsel submits that in case the petitioner files a representation claiming the promotion to the post of Superintendent before the Deputy Commissioner, Sirsa, the same will be decided within a period of two weeks from the date of submission of the said representation.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that keeping in view the undertaking given by learned State counsel, the petitioner does not want to press this writ petition any further and he will approach the Deputy Commissioner, Sirsa by filing an appropriate representation immediately.

Ordered accordingly.

It is made clear that the respondents will be bound by their statement, recorded herein above.
