SUVIR SEHGAL, J. (Oral) Through the instant petition, the petitioner seeks anticipatory bail in case FIR No.149 dated 18.10.2014, under Sections 420 and 120-B of Indian Penal Code, 1860 registered at Police Station 'B' Division, Amritsar City, District Amritsar.

Learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI Amarjeet Singh submits that the petitioner has joined investigation and is no longer required for custodial interrogation. He further submits that in compliance of the order dated 04.09.2019, the petitioner has handed over a bank draft of `1.5 lakhs to the Investigating Officer which has since been encashed by the complainant.

CRM-M-37099 of 2019 {2} In view of the above facts, but without commenting on the merits of the case, the present petition is allowed and the order dated 04.09.2019 granting interim bail to the petitioner is made absolute, subject to the conditions laid down in Section 438 (2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
