RAJESH BHARDWAJ, J.(ORAL) Present petition has been filed under Section 528 of Bharatiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, for issuance of direction to the official respondents, especially respondent No.4 to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 04.07.2024,Annexure P-1, vide which the petitioner has made request to take appropriate action against private respondents who are harassing her and trying to dispossess her from the house and to ensure the protection of life and liberty of the petitioner. It has been submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that respondents No.6 to 9 are sons and daughters-in-law of the petitioner and they are harassing her and bent upon to dispossess her from her house. He further submits that petitioner has already given representation to respondent No.4 on 04.07.2024, Annexure P-1, however, no action has been taken on the same till date.

Without entering upon an exercise to evaluate the evidentiary value of the documents placed on the file, I dispose of the petition with a direction to respondent no.4-Commissioner of Police, Ludhiana, District Ludhiana, to decide the representation, dated 04.07.2024, Annexure P-1, in accordance with law expeditiously preferably within a period of one month from today and grant protection to the petitioner, if any threat to her life and liberty is perceived.
