Mr. Ankur Mittal, Addl. AG, Haryana.

Mr. P.S. Poonia, Advocate for respondents No. 4 to 6 (in CWP-4906-2018) *** LISA GILL, J.

This order shall dispose of CWP Nos. 4957, 4906 and 5142 of 2018 Prayer in all these petitions is for quashing memo dated 07.02.2018 whereby instructions had been issued to all Secretaries of the Regional Transport RITU SHARMA 2022.07.14 16:47 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

CWP-4957-2018 (O&M) -2Authorities in the State of Haryana to issue temporary permits under the Draft Scheme of 2017 on the ground that the same is illegal and contrary to the provisions of Motor Vehicles Act as well orders passed by the Hon'ble Supreme Court.

Learned counsel for the State submits that all these writ petition are rendered infructuous as the Draft Scheme of 2017 itself as well as all dispensations afforded under the Scheme have been withdrawn. In this respect, attention has also been drawn to order dated 21.01.2020 passed by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Civil Appeal No. 556 of 2020. It is noticed that none had appeared on behalf of the petitioners on the last date of hearing.

Today again, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioners. It appears that due to withdrawal of the Scheme, petitioners are no longer interested in pursuing these matters.

These petitions are, accordingly, disposed of as infructuous. Needless to say, petitioners have any subsisting grievance, liberty is afforded to them to move an appropriate application within four weeks from today. (LISA GILL) July 11, 2022 JUDGE rts Whether speaking/reasoned :
