(ORAL) CM-9310-CII-2020 The joint application has been filed for disposing of the FAO No.4297 of 2016 in view of the compromise, which has been entered into between the parties i.e. the Insurance Company and the claimants. In view of the above, the application is allowed and on the request of learned counsel for the parties, the main case is taken up for hearing for today itself.

In the present case, the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, Ludhiana allowed a compensation of Rs.7,75,200/- in favour of the appellants/claimants. FAO-4297-2016 (O&M) --2-- During the pendency of the present appeal, this Court has been informed by the learned counsel for the parties that the parties have already settled their dispute out of the Court in an oral settlement, according to which, apart from the amount awarded by the Tribunal i.e. Rs.7,75,200/- another consolidated amount of sum of Rs.2,90,000/- will be released in favour of the claimants within a period of one month. Learned counsel for the respective parties confirm the said oral agreement and jointly pray that the present appeal be also disposed of in terms of the oral settlement recorded above. Keeping in view the above, the present appeal is disposed of in terms of the oral agreement notice above, according to which, the appellants/claimants will be paid another sum of Rs.2,90,000/- i.e.

over and above the amount of Rs.7,75,200/- awarded by the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, Ludhiana within a period of one month from the date of disposal of the main appeal as this Court has been informed that the cheque of the said amount has already been prepared in favour of the appellants/claimants.
