In the nature of order, I propose to pass, no formal written statement(s)/counter affidavit(s) on behalf of the respondents are indeed necessary, at this stage. Thus, with the consent of the parties, the petition is being finally disposed of.
The Haryana Staff Selection Commission-respondent No. 2 advertised 38 posts of Station Supervisor under Category No. 22. The petitioner participated in the selection process under the Backward Class-A (BCA) Category, for, he was fully eligible therefor. He purports to have qualified the written examination. And, he was even called for scrutiny of Prashant Kapoor 2018.01.11 15:52 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document
CWP-499-2018 documents alongwith other successful candidates. However, in the final list of candidates who have been called for interview, his name and roll number is not reflected. Resultantly, he has even represented to respondent No. 2Commission, vide representation dated 04.01.2018 (Annexure P-6). But to no avail. The interviews in the concerned category is scheduled to take place on 13.01.2018.
In response, learned counsel for the respondents submits that the grievance as also the representation of the petitioner, dated 04.01.2018 (Annexure P-6), shall be considered and disposed of by respondent No. 2Commission. And appropriate orders in accordance with law shall be passed by 12.01.2018 itself, which shall be communicated to the petitioner. That being so, the petition is accordingly disposed of in the above terms. Needless to assert that in the event, the claim of the petitioner is accepted and he ought to have been called for the purposes of interview, the necessary orders in this regard shall be passed.
