***** JASPAL SINGH, J Through instant petition preferred under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India, petitioner has sought issuance of a writ especially in the nature of mandamus, directing the respondents to fix the pension of the petitioner and release gratuity and arrears of pension along with interest @ 15% per annum.

At the very outset of the arguments, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner feels satisfied in case direction is issued to respondent No. 2, to decide representation dated 04.12.2017 (Annexure P-3), within a stipulated period.
