******* SURINDER GUPTA, J.(Oral) Reply by way of affidavit of Piara Singh, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Jalandhar on behalf of respondents filed by learned State counsel today in the Court is taken on record. The petitioner filed this writ petition seeking release of Kashmiri Lal. A Warrant Officer was appointed, who went to Police Station Lohian and was apprised that Kashmiri Lal had been called to the police station on 01.09.2019 at about 12:01 p.m. to enquire the complaint of theft in the Jalandhar Public School and after verification/investigation, he left the police station in the presence of Jaspal Singh, resident of village Gidadhpindi and Harjinder Singh resident of village Domana at 4:00 p.m.. The petitioner and his relatives were satisfied and did not desire any further search for alleged detenue by the warrant officer at any other place. None has appeared for the petitioner.

In view of report of warrant officer, no further action is required to be taken in this petition.

Disposed of.
