***** JASPAL SINGH, J Instant petition has been preferred under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus, directing the respondents to release the benefits of leave encashment as per government instructions dated 12.08.1998 and 29.04.2002 (Annexures P-2 & P-3) along with 12% interest from the date of his superannuation till payment. 2.

At the very outset of the arguments, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner feels satisfied in case direction is issued to respondent No.2, to decide legal notice dated 21.11.2017 (Annexure P-4), within a stipulated period.
