A small part of petitioner's land situated within the revenue estate of Ballon Majra, Tehsil and District SAS Nagar, Mohali has been acquired for construction of a slip road parallel to the National Highway No.21. The grievance of the petitioner is that neither the compensation has been paid nor any Award has been passed as the land has never been acquired. In this regard a representation has been made by him on 10.02.2018 (Annexure P-5).

[2] The question whether the petitioner's land has been acquired or compensation amount has been deposited or not with the appropriate Authority, is essentially a question of fact.
