Petitioner has filed this petition under Section 439 Cr.P.C. for grant of regular bail in case FIR No.106 dated 14.09.2018 under Sections 420, 406, 419, 465, 467, 468, 471 and 120-B IPC, registered at Police Station City-I, Mansa.

Notice of motion.

Mr.Sidakmeet Singh Sandhu, Asstt. Advocate General, Punjab, has put in appearance on behalf of the respondent-State and contested the petition.

I have heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned State counsel and have gone through the record. As per the allegations, one Sukhjeet Singh took `8,74,300/- by different cheques and also obtained `19,26,000/- in cash from the VINEET GULATI 2019.09.11 16:28 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Chandigarh complainant on the pretext that he has to go to abroad and for that purpose,

CRM No.M-37109 of 2019 -2he has to show money in the bank account but he did not go abroad and refused to return the money. The present petitioner is not named in the FIR. He has been nominated in this case during investigation. The petitioner has been in custody since 23.07.2019. He is not required for any investigation or interrogation purposes as he is in judicial custody. The trial of the case will take long time. No useful purpose will be served by keeping the petitioner in custody till the disposal of the case.

Keeping in view the facts and circumstances of the present case and without discussing the facts in minute detail and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the present petition is allowed and the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail subject to his furnishing personal/surety bonds in the sum of `50,000/- with one surety in the like amount to the satisfaction of the trial Court/Duty Magistrate.
