(ORAL) This petition has been filed by the petitioners praying for a direction to the respondent-authorities to decide the representation dated 10.12.2020 (Annexure P-5) filed by the petitioners for continuing admissions in Diploma in Elementary Education (D.EI.Ed.) course for the session 2020-2021 in the District Institutes of Education and Training (DIETs). Mr. Deepak Balyan, learned Additional Advocate General, Haryana submits that the Diploma in Elementary Education (D.EI.Ed.) course has been stopped at District Level since 2018 and is being continued in six institutions in the State of Haryana. He submits that a decision on the representation dated 10.12.2020 (Annexure P-5) filed by the petitioners shall be taken by the authorities and the order passed thereon shall be communicated to the petitioners within four weeks.

In view of the aforesaid statement made by learned Additional Advocate General, Haryana, we do not find any reason to entertain the present petition which is disposed of taking the statement of learned State counsel on record. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case and, therefore, the authorities would be at liberty to examine the matter within four weeks from today keeping all facts and facets into consideration and thereafter accept or reject the same in accordance with law.
