**** AJAY KUMAR MITTAL, J. (Oral) The petitioner has approached this Court under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, seeking a writ in the nature of Mandamus, for direction to respondent No.1 to allow the petitioner to take the original Educational Qualification Certificates lying in her H.No.247, Sector 15, Panchkula, under the lock and key of respondent No.1. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that representations dated 07.10.2016 & 23.11.2016 {Annexure P-4 (Colly)} had been filed to the Deputy Commissioner, Panchkula-respondent No.2, who is also exercising the powers of District Magistrate, Panchkula, for the relief claimed in the writ petition, regarding release of the original Educational Qualification Certificates, which are lying in H.No. 247, Sector 15, Panchkula under the lock and key of respondent No.1. 3.

After hearing learned counsel for the petitioner and perusing the averments made in the writ petition, we do not consider it appropriate to issue notice, as the prayer made in the writ petition is only regarding the Jawala Ram 2017.01.20 12:42 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Chandigarh

CWP No. 793 of 2017 - 2 - release of the original Educational Qualification Certificates, which are lying in the residential H.No. 247, Sector 15, Panchkula, under the lock and key of respondent No.1. Therefore, while disposing of the writ petition, we direct respondent No.2 to consider and decide the representations {Annexure P-4 (Colly)}, filed by the petitioner, within a period of one week from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order and thereafter to take further action within next one week for release of the original Educational Qualification Certificates, in accordance with law.
