******* DEEPAK SIBAL, J. (ORAL) The present appeal has been preferred by the claimant seeking enhancement in the compensation awarded by the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, Kurukshetra (for short - Tribunal). The facts in brief which are required to be noticed for adjudicating upon the present appeal are that on 11.02.2015, Naveen Kumar along with the appellant Prem Kaur were going on a motorcycle being driven by Naveen Kumar, which met with an accident with a truck bearing registration No.HR-65-8993 (for short - offending vehicle). As a result of the accident Naveen Kumar died and the appellant received multiple injuries.

Through the impugned award, on account of injuries suffered by the appellant, she has been awarded a compensation of Rs.1,31,321/- which includes medical expenses for the proved medical bills; Rs.30,000/- for pain and sufferings; Rs.15,000/- as attendant charges; Rs.10,000/- for Amit Kaundal 2018.07.26 11:28 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

FAO No.4600 of 2016 (O & M) -2special diet and Rs.5,000/- towards transportation charges. No material or any basis has been shown to support as to why the awarded amount under the different heads should be enhanced. Therefore, this Court has no other option to dismiss the present appeal of the claimant.
