Prayer made in the present petition is for directing the respondents to consider the candidature of the petitioner under the reserved category i.e. Backward Class to the post of Staff Nurse. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner does not press the petition any further in view of para 4 of the reply by way of affidavit of Director, Health Services (Family Welfare), Punjab dated 11.03.2024, wherein it has been stated that even if the petitioner is considered as a Backward Class candidate, still she does not come in the merit list, which has been further substantiated by the learned State counsel that the petitioner had scored 38 marks, while the last selected candidate under the BC category 45. 3.

Disposed of as not pressed.
