Prayer made in the present petition is for directing the official respondents to protect the life and personal liberty of the petitioner by providing adequate protection at the hands of respondent Nos.5 to 9. 2.

Learned counsel submits that the petitioner is a senior citizen, an agriculturist and is living with his daughter and her minor children, however, has not been allowed to enter into his land and follow his daily routine by respondent Nos.5 to 9, regarding which, a representation dated 12.06.2025, Annexure P-2 has been submitted to SSP, Fazilka-respondent No.2 to protect the life and liberty. 3.

Learned counsel appearing for respondent Nos.5 to 8 submits that the petitioner has filed a complaint under Section 156 (3) Cr.P.C., which was dismissed, against which an appeal filed by him is pending. 4.

On the other hand, learned State counsel submits that the petitioner has been called, however, he having not come forward, his complaint was MOHIT 2025.08.25 18:39 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
