This is a petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 for issuance of directions to respondent Nos.1 to 3 to take action on the representation dated 21.06.2023 (Annexure P-2). 2.

Learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI Sukhwinder Singh, has stated that there is a DDR entry made on 19.06.2023 wherein the petitioner had stated that since there were talks of compromise going on and she did not want to pursue the matter at that stage and in case the compromise does not fructify then she would like to proceed with the matter. Learned State counsel has further pointed out that the petitioner has not contacted the Investigating Officer or the concerned Police Station and has directly sent the representation by post to the Senior Superintendent of Police, Faridkot.

In view of the above, the present petition is disposed off with a direction to the Station House Officer (SHO), Sadar Kotkapura, District Faridkot to look into the matter as also to take into consideration the representation dated 21.06.2023 (Annexure P-2). Petitioner may approach the SHO, Sadar Kotkapura, District Faridkot, on 25.08.2023 at 10:00 AM. 4.
