The petitioner filed a CRM-M No.1348 of 2019 raising grievance that various representations were made to the Senior Superintendent of Police, Pathankot against respondents No.4 to 8 (in the criminal petition) but no action was being taken. The petition was disposed of on 15.01.2019 directing the Senior Superintendent of Police, Pathankot to decide the representation dated 10.09.2018 and in case allegations were found correct, to take action in accordance with law.

The contempt petition is filed as needful has not been done by the respondent.

COCP No.3067 of 2019 -2Court, accepts notice on behalf of the respondent. Affidavit of Mr. Deepak Hilori, IPS, Senior Superintendent of Police, Pathankot filed today in the Court, is taken on record, copy handed over to learned counsel for the petitioner. Alongwith the affidavit, decision dated 02.03.2019 is annexed whereby cancellation of complaint is recommended.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in view of order dated 02.03.2019, no cause of action survives in pursuing the contempt petition, however, seeks liberty to avail remedies in accordance with law.

The contempt petition is disposed of with liberty as prayed for.
