The present revision petition has been filed impugning the order dated 18.07.2023 passed by the Principal Judge, Family Court, Camp Court at Gohana, District Sonipat.

Learned counsel for the petitioner would contend that the amount of maintenance awarded is on the higher side and that the petitioner has certain EMIs to pay and hence would not be able to pay an amount of Rs.8,000/- per month as maintenance to the respondent herein. 3.

Heard.

The petitioner in the present case is serving in Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam (DHBVN) as a Lower Division Clerk at a monthly salary of Rs.33,230/-. As per his own affidavit of assets and liabilities, his father is a pensioner. There is no child born out of the wedlock. The respondent on Yogesh Sharma 2023.10.14 10:54 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this order/judgment.

2023:PHHC:133833 CRR(F)-1216-2023 (O&M) -2other hand has no source of income and is solely dependent upon her parents. She also has no moveable or immoveable properties. The Family Court, after considering the evidence on the record, has granted an amount of Rs.8,000/- per month as maintenance to the respondent herein which cannot by any standard be held to be on the higher side. 5.

Keeping in view the salary being drawn by the petitioner and the fact that the respondent has no source of income and is solely dependent on her parents, I do not find any illegality or infirmity in the impugned order dated 18.07.2023 passed by the Family Court. The present petition is accordingly dismissed. Pending applications if any also stand disposed off.
