(ORAL) Prayer in the present Criminal Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, is for issuance of appropriate writ or directions for releasing the petitioner as he has undergone custody period of 19 years and 08 days, on usual terms and conditions of the policy dated 04.04.2013 (Annexure P-2), as further detention of the petitioner is violative of Articles 14, 19 and 21 of the Constitution of India.

After arguing for some time, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he may be permitted to withdraw the present writ petition.

Permitted to do so.
