The petitioner has filed the present petition under Section 528 of the Bhartiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 with a prayer to issue directions to respondents No.2 and 3 to refrain from conducting multiple inquiries in the same subject matter. A further prayer has been made to direct the respondent No.7 not to harass the petitioner by calling him unnecessarily in his office in respect of complaint moved by respondent No.8. 2.
Learned State counsel on instructions from the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Jaspinder Singh submits that a complaint was received from respondent No.8 in the present case and after holding inquiry, the file has been consigned to record room as the complaint was found to be frivolous. Learned State counsel has further assured the Court that the petitioner shall not be harassed by respondent No.7 or any other police official in connection with the complaint filed by respondent No.8. 3.
In view of the statement made by the learned State counsel, no further directions are required and the present petition is accordingly disposed off.
