This petition has been filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India in the nature of mandamus with a prayer of issuing direction to official respondents No. 2 to 4 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner at the hands of private respondents No. 5 to 7 with a further prayer to decide the representation dated 29.05.2025 moved by the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the petitioners contends that the petitioners have preferred a representation/complaint dated 29.05.2025 (Annexure P-3) to respondent No.3- Senior Superintendent of Police, SAS Nagar, Mohali but no action has been taken so far. Learned counsel submits that he would be satisfied if directions are issued to respondent No.3- Senior Superintendent of Police, SAS Nagar, Mohali to look into his representation/complaint and take appropriate steps at the earliest. 3.

I have heard learned counsel for the parties. 6.

Keeping in view the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited prayer made by the petitioners, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.3- Senior Superintendent of Police, SAS Nagar, Mohali to consider and decide the representation/complaint dated 29.05.2025 (Annexure P-3) of the petitioner in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order and pass an appropriate order.
