***** JASPAL SINGH, J.(Oral) By virtue of instant petition preferred under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, petitioner has sought issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari for setting aside para 3 of Notification issued by Govt. of Punjab, Department of Finance dated 15.12.2011 i.e. Annexure P-11. AND FURTHER directing the respondents to implement the judgment of this Court rendered in CWP-11373 of 2012 dated 16.08.2013.

At the very outset of the arguments, it has been submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that he gives up the relief with regard to set aside para 3 of notification issued by Govt. of Punjab, Department of Finance dated 15.12.2011 i.e. Annexure P-11 and feels satisfied in case direction is issued to the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner setup by him in legal notice dated 27.12.2017 (Annexure P-17) and pass an appropriate orders Sonika 2018.03.12 13:17 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Chandigarh

Accordingly, petition qua setting aside of para 3 of notification issued by Govt. of Punjab, Department of Finance dated 15.12.2011 i.e. Annexure P-11, is dismissed as withdrawn whereas the petition qua relief of issuance of direction as per relief claimed in legal notice is concerned, the same is disposed of with the direction to the respondent to look into the grievances unfolded by the petitioner in legal notice dated 27.12.2017 (Annexure P-17) and take a final and conscious decision in the light of judgment passed by this Court in CWP-11373-2012, captioned as "Rattan Singh and others v. State of Punjab", decided on 16.08.2013 (Annexure P-12), within a period of three months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. 4.

However, in case, the petitioner still feels dissatisfied against the order passed by the concerned authority, he shall be at liberty to approach this Court as well as to have recourse to the other remedies available under law.
