Panchayat Officer, Amritsar, which is taken on record, subject to all just exceptions. Another copy thereof has also been supplied to learned counsel for the petitioner, in Court today itself.

2.1 Learned State counsel, while referring to the aforesaid order, submits that the members of the Panchayat, namely Sh. Sukhdev Singh (Ward No.1), Sh. Tarsem Singh (Ward No.2), Sh. Amrik Singh (Ward No.3) and Smt. Lakhbir Kaur (Ward No.7), have been suspended under Section 20(4) of the Punjab Panchayati Raj Act, 1994, as they had refused to work with the present Sarpanch.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, in view of the aforesaid submissions made by learned State counsel, as well as the order dated 03.11.2025 passed by the learned District Development and Panchayat Officer, Amritsar, he may be permitted to withdraw the present writ petition at this stage, with liberty to the petitioner to file afresh, if the need so arises. 4.

Keeping in view the aforesaid submissions made by learned counsel for the petitioner, the present writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn with the liberty aforesaid.
