***** JASPAL SINGH, J The instant petition has been preferred under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus, directing the respondents to grant the benefit of monthly financial assistance admissible under Haryana Compassionate Assistance to the Dependents of Deceased Govt. Employees, Rules 2006 to the petitioner along with all consequential benefits.

At the very outset, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that though several requests were made to the respondents but no action has been taken by them. Ultimately, she was constrained to serve legal notice dated 12.01.2018 (Annexure P-8) but till date neither any response has been received nor any substantive action has been taken.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner feels satisfied in case direction is issued to respondents to decide legal notice dated 12.01.2018 (Annexure P-8), within some prescribed period. 4.

Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the instant petition is disposed of with the direction to respondents to look into the grievances unfolded by the petitioner in legal notice dated 12.01.2018 (Annexure P-8) and to decide the same, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. 5.

However, if the petitioner still feels aggrieved against any of the order(s) passed by the concerned authority, she shall be at liberty to have recourse to the other remedies available to her as well as to approach this Court.
