G.S.SANDHAWALIA, J. (Oral) Counsel had been directed on 25.04.2017 to place on record the seniority of the feeder cadre to the post of Legal Officer Panchayat. In spite of three opportunities given thereafter, the said order has not been complied with. The petitioners seek consideration for promotion to the post of Legal Officer Panchayat and it has been submitted that their representations are not being decided.

In view of the above information not having been supplied, it is not possible to decide the issue as a legal right has to be established. Accordingly, the present writ petition is dismissed as not pressed with liberty to file a fresh one on the same cause of action after complying with the above requirement.
