TA-1121-2021 (O&M) to the competent Court of jurisdiction at Jalandhar. There is no representation on behalf of the respondent. Counsel for the petitioner submits that the respondent has filed a petition for restitution of conjugal rights which is pending before the Principal Judge, Family Court, Gurdaspur and it is very difficult for the petitioner to pursue the case at Gurdaspur.

Since there is no representation on behalf of the respondent to contest the present petition, the same is allowed. The petition filed by the respondent-husband under Section 32 of the Indian Divorce Act, 1869, titled as "Sanjeev Kumar Vs. Ekta and another" DMC No.50 of 2021, pending in the Court of learned Principal Judge, Family Court, Gurdaspur, will be transferred to the competent Court of jurisdiction at Jalandhar. The parties are directed to appear before the District Judge, Jalandhar, on 8.8.2022. It will be open to the District Judge, Jalandhar, to entrust the case to the Court of competent jurisdiction. File, complete in all respects, be sent to the Court of District Judge, Jalandhar, well before the date fixed. July 11, 2022.
