***** JASPAL SINGH, J Through instant petition preferred under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, petitioner has sought issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus to revise the pay scale of Rs.15600-39100+G.P.Rs.6000/- w.e.f. 01.01.2006 as recommended by the Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra and to release the pension and other retiral benefits on the basis of revised scales as well as arrears along with interest.

At the very outset of the arguments, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that though legal notice dated 01.02.2018 (Annexure P-6) was duly served upon the respondents but till date neither any response has been received nor any conscious decision has been taken. Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the instant petition is disposed of with the direction to respondents to look into the grievances unfolded by the petitioner in legal notice dated 01.02.2018 (Annexure P-6) and to take a conscious decision in accordance with law, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. 4.
However, if the petitioner still feels dissatisfied against the order passed by the concerned authority, he shall be at liberty to have recourse to the other remedies available under law as well as to approach this Court.
