NAMIT KUMAR J. (Oral) Prayer in this writ petition filed by the petitioner under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, is for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari, for quashing/setting-aside the order dated 28.6.2017 (Annexure P-10), whereby the claim of the petitioner for payment of enhanced amount of gratuity has been rejected. Further a writ of mandamus has been sought for directing the respondents to release the balance payment of enhanced amount of gratuity to the petitioner and to pay interest @ 18% per annum on the delayed amount of gratuity from the due date till the date of actual payment. Despite grant of last opportunity to learned counsel for the petitioner on 29.07.2024, the legal representatives of the petitioner have not been brought on record.
