**** JAISHREE THAKUR, J. (ORAL) It is contended that the petitioners herein, who are on substantive post of Work Mistry/Work Munshi, are performing the duties of Junior Engineer as per the orders dated 30.01.2008/31.08.2010. Their claim is for grant of pay /emoluments of a higher post which they are discharging. In this regard, the petitioners have already approached the department concerned by way of a legal notice dated 28.10.2016 (Annexure P-16), however, the same is pending consideration. At the present moment, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners limits his prayer to an early consideration of the said legal notice.

I have heard learned counsel for the petitioners and without going into the merits of the case, this petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to decide the legal notice dated 28.10.2016 (Annexure P16) served by the petitioners upon the respondents by passing a speaking order in accordance with law within a period of two months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
