***** JASPAL SINGH, J Through instant petition preferred under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India, petitioners have sought issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to fix the pension of the petitioners in consonance with Circular No.19/2010 dated 13.04.2010 (P-3) as well as to grant benefit of circular dated 24.02.2014 (P-5) vide which the grade pay has been further revised and to grant consequential benefits as per circular dated 20.03.2014 (P-6). AND FURTHER directing the respondents to refix the pension after revision and also grant arrears along with interest. 2.

At the very outset of the arguments, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that petitioners feel satisfied, in case, direction is issued to respondent No.2 to decide legal notice dated 22.05.2017 (Annexure P-10), within some stipulated period.

Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the instant petition is disposed of with the direction to respondent No.2-Chairman Punjab State Power Corporation Ltd. (PSPCL), Patiala to look into the grievances unfolded by the petitioner in legal notice dated 22.05.2017 (Annexure P-10) and to take a conscious decision in accordance with law, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.

However, if the petitioners still feel dissatisfied against the order passed by the concerned authority, they shall be at liberty to have recourse to the other remedies available under law as well as to approach this Court.
