Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that vide report dated 15.03.2018, Assistant Inspector General of Police, Crime Zone, Amritsar recommended cancellation of FIR No.39 dated 30.06.2017 registered at Police Station Kanwan, District Pathankot. Neither the case was properly investigated before giving this report nor the cancellation report has been filed in the Court so far.

Without expressing any opinion on merits, this petition is disposed of with direction to respondent No.3-Senior Superintendent of Police, Pathankot to look into the grievance of petitioner in this regard and submit final report in the aforementioned FIR before the Court concerned. On filing of final report, the petitioner will be at liberty to avail other legal remedies available to her.
