(Oral) The prayer in the present petitions is for quashing of FIR No.0119 dated 21.09.2017 (Annexure P-1) under Sections 420, 120-B of IPC registered at Police Station, Barnala, District, Barnala, Punjab and all the consequential proceeding arising therefrom. The learned counsel for the petitioner(s) contends that during the pendency of the instant petitions, a compromise has been arrived at, as is evident from the report of the Mediator dated 04.09.2025. He, therefore, prays that the FIR be quashed.

CRM-M-37943-2019 & CRM-M-41959-2018 -2The learned counsel for the respondent/complainant has not disputed the factual assertions that the matter stands settled between the parties in the Mediation and Conciliation Centre of this Court and he has no objection to the quashing of the FIR.

In view of the respective contentions of both the parties, FIR No.0119 dated 21.09.2017 (Annexure P-1) under Sections 420, 120-B of IPC registered at Police Station, Barnala, District, Barnala, Punjab, and all the consequential proceedings arising therefrom stand quashed qua the petitioners only.

A photocopy of this order be placed on the file of connected case.
