Prayer in this writ petition is for quashing order dated 15.12.2017, Annexure P-9, passed by respondent no.2, to the extent that the petitioner has not been allowed to undertake mining activities for the complete area. It is further prayed that the petitioner be allowed to commence mining operations by adopting mechanized mining without enforcing the conditions as depicted in the aforesaid order. Learned counsel for the State, on the last date of hearing had submitted that this writ petition is rendered infructuous in view of order dated 02.10.2018 passed by the Department of Mines and Geology. The matter had been adjourned for today to enable learned counsel for the petitioner to verify the same.
