The present petition has been filed by the petitioners under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, seeking a writ of certiorari for quashing the orders dated 01.09.2022 and 18.08.2022 (Annexures P-6 to P-8), passed by respondents No.1 and 2, vide which the formal NOC to permit the petitioners to join 3 years Senior Residency Course in Government Medical College, Patiala, has been declined. Further, a writ of mandamus has been sought for directing the respondents to grant formal NOC to the petitioners to enable them to join the said 3 years course in Government Medical College, Patiala, for which they have been duly selected.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that petitioners No.1 to 3 have already been issued NOC and they have joined the three year Senior Residency Course and, therefore, the instant petition qua VINAY 2026.04.18 10:49 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment
CWP-22732-2022 -2them has been rendered infructuous and petitioner No.4 was not found eligible for issuance of NOC, therefore, no further cause survives in the present writ petition.

Disposed of accordingly.
