***** ARUN MONGA, J. (ORAL) Status report by way of affidavit dated 04.10.2023 has been tendered in course of hearing by learned State counsel, which is taken on record. 2.

Petition herein is for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.201 dated 09.07.2023, registered under Sections 452, 326, 323 read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (for short 'IPC'), at Police Station, Civil Lines Batala, Police District Batala, District Gurdaspur.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that pursuant to earlier order dated 24.08.2023 passed by this Court, petitioner has joined the investigation and has fully cooperated in the same.

Learned State counsel, per his instructions from ASI Devinder Singh, submits that petitioner has joined investigation and in view of cooperation rendered by him, no custodial interrogation of petitioner is required. 5.

In view of the above, since custodial interrogation of petitioner is no more required, and he has already joined investigation and cooperated with the investigating officer, present petition is allowed. Order dated 24.08.2023 is made absolute, subject to petitioner's complying with provisions under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C. 6.
